What is the duration of the course?
When completed in a classroom setting, the course takes three days of focused learning. Participants will engage in a range of activities designed to deepen their understanding of key concepts, including a practical risk assessment project. This project allows learners to apply their knowledge in a real-world context, reinforcing the importance of effective risk management. At the end of the course, an exam is held to evaluate the participant’s grasp of the material. Successfully completing both the risk assessment project and the exam is required to obtain the qualification, ensuring learners are equipped to enhance workplace safety.

The course covers all 7 of the IOSH modules across three days of learning.

What Assessment Does The Course Offer?
IOSH Managing Safely®️ is assessed in 2 parts:
A Multiple-choice test.
A Practical assessment, in which participants must show how to apply the knowledge they have gained throughout the course to real-life situations.
An IOSH Managing Safely®️ certificate will be awarded upon successful completion of both parts of the assessment.

Candidates do not need to buy IOSH membership to complete one of our IOSH courses.
Are there any entry requirements for an IOSH course?
There are no entry requirements for IOSH Working Safely, Managing Safely or Leading Safely.
When will I receive my IOSH certificate?
Your IOSH certificate is sent via post and usually arrives within 6 weeks of completing your IOSH course.
